Covent Garden fashion shoot
Back in May I had the pleasure to photograph Ema from Texas. She and her husband were here on their Honeymoon and she wanted some street style fashion shots done. I was more than happy to meet them in Covent Garden for a shoot.
We met in Neil's Yard with the intention to get some shots there but as luck would have it, there was a lot of scaffolding everywhere so we decided to go to one of the side streets which provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot.
Ema had a few styles that we could experiment with and that worked out very well with doing the shoot around Covent Garden. For a relatively small area it has a lot of backdrops to offer.
With the simple addition of a hat, it transformed the look and we only had to walk 20m for another backdrop and Boom!
As I say quite a lot, I am more drawn to Black & White images. Really can't put a finger on it but these next few images I hope you can see why. Maybe it just reminds me of the work done back in the 60's by the likes of Klein and Bailey? I think they just work.
I'd like to thank Ema and also her husband for helping me holding flashes for the shoot and If I'm ever in Texas I'll be sure to call and try some good Tex Mex!
Cheers!
