Documentary Photography - First Snow
Here in the south east of the UK, snow can be pretty rare. Last night I was heading home after shooting in Club Havana, High Wycombe and at about 02:30 on the M40 it began to snow. All I was thinking was 'I really hope this settles' as my son has not seen snow since he was 2 and my daughter has never.
To my tired but delight, it had settled!
So whats the best thing to do at 9am on a snowy Sunday morning?... Build a snowman!
Our kids faces were priceless playing and building in the snow!
Now with all of this snow... How could anyone resist a little snowball fight?... Snow is one of those things that just looks amazing and so much fun for the kids... Even the dog was running around like a headless chicken! Fun for everyone!
I've said it before and I'll reiterate it again now, the importance of documenting you life... documenting what is going on around you... your friends and family because the same thing will not happen again... Today was one of those mornings that I had to photograph forthe reasons I stated at the top of the post... The first time the kids really saw, played and built a snowman in the rare South East UK snow! So get you camera's out and always have them ready!I
If you have it enjoy the snow! And please be safe on the roads!
Cheers and Take Care!
